The DX340 doesn’t have DAC cards, only amp cards. Were they referring to the Cayin N6iii, maybe, which is rumored to have a forthcoming R2R card?

it was on the "agenda" but yeah... no official word from what I have heard... AMP 18 is described and transistor network? I think possibly lost in translation as they all have transistors, they may mean resistors ? Dunno. Here's hoping its possible

I'm looking on Amazon US and Canada and only see the FC4. How much better is the FC6?

I have both FC4 and FC6. They are not really comparable. FC6 is unique and in a totally different, better, class than FC4. FC4 is a relatively generic dongle dac, competent enough, with many better options in its tier. FC6, if you can find one is, imho, an investment and a classic to keep.

I don't have the fc4

But yes i agree there is something special about the FC6, an instant classic in my opinion

Can you use the fc6 as a stand alone dac fed to a desktop amp? If so how?
