Now you can go forward testing out different hps to see what you like. You'll find one hp to do something so right on some music and fail on others.

Congrats on the move to headphone audio. Enjoy tubin. I'd recommend a 2c51 adapter & tube but if you have an ECC1 adapter, there are many AT,AU,AV tubes that sound excellent as well in the gain slot.

If you have it, put on Eric Clapton Unplugged, Tears in Heaven and Layla.

Earl set me up with 2 6bl7gta and adaptors for output and ECC# 2 adapter with 6GU7 in the gain slot. And yes I do have EC Unplugged one of my all time favorites! The next set of phones that I think I will be compelled to try is the HD800
