Dear all,
This will be my first post here, although I've been a lurker for a very long time! Please forgive if I accidently offend any rule.
As the title suggested, I'm looking for a decent amp to couple with my HD600/Elite pro set up. I understand that may people look down on computer soundcard as DAC but the Elite pro sounds very good to me, and I'd spent £200 on it so would not replace it too soon.
I'm quite content with my HD600 by plugging in the soundcard directly, but I think it could do better than that. I have browsed through quite a bit of articles and it seemed that Graham Slee Solo was a general consensus as an entry level amp for HD600. However the price tag at £377 made me hesitated, however I'm willing to stretch it if it really makes a significant leap to my sound. I'm also looking for other viable amp options, please recommend!
I usually listen to classics, jazz and Japanese pop in Foobar2000 with FLAC.
Cheers,
