I would like some new headphones for use on an Ipad, eventually with an ifi iDSD nano DAC/Amp. So the headphones should be comfortably driven by this equipment. I like to stay close to 150-160 Euros, 200-220 $$. I can't stand earbuds and like over-ears the most. But on-ears are OK too. At the moment I can get the Focal Spirit One for 145 Euros and AKG K454 for 155 Euros. I listen mainly to 70s Rock and Blues and occasional classical music. Which do you guys prefer? Focal or AKG? Can you advise others in the same price range?

I've heard the Focals and they were very good. The only AKG that I've heard is the Annie which was also very good. Just depends if you want open or closed.
