Fiio E11 ($48) and Fiio L cable ($10) will work fine with Apple portable devices with LOD ports.

The LOD cable should work with just about any amplifier with a 3.5mm (mini-jack) input.
Or with adding on any 3.5mm female to RCA adapter cable extention, into an amplifier with an RCA input.
