has any owner if this Heed canamp considered removing the stock 'hard wired' AC power cable and putting in an IEC connector to allow for use of aftermarket AC power cables? I have to think this would be a great upgrade..

Moving forward on this project....
 
Going to have a C8 chassis mount installed on the back of my Canamp by http://echohifi.com/ as there is not enough 'real estate' on the back to fit an IEC mount. Will test with one of my PS Audio C7 Punch cords and report.
