My Audition at Munich high end convinced me.
I now have a HEDDphone Two GT on order
Did I mis them at High End Munich? Had a talk with Frederik Knop before reviewing the HEDDphone Two GT. I thought they weren’t coming to High End Munich? That’s a shame, would definately gave them a visit.

The Two GT is an amazing headphone, totally agree looks the part, sounds the part, even the packing is up to spec.

Enjoy your TWO GT 👍🏼

HEDD themselves weren't in Munich this year, but the Guys from RME and SPL Had HEDDphone Two GTs at their booth.

It was the very Last Thing I found but damn was it worth it.

My HEDDphone Two GT arrived today.

Unpacking experience was excellent. Really liking the packing, great Balance between "Premium feel" and "efficient Design"

Listening impressions will follow

Enjoy your set.

I've compared it to the HFA Dahlia (dynamic rings and ZMF Universe lamp skin perf pads) today.
Nice headphones, very easy to drive from quite everything. Lightweight, with a bit of weak clamping, imo.

Sound was really good, depending on the genre.
Very open, great vocals, nice "kicks".
But it still misses the "weight" on the sound, the GT brings to the table.
Well, the GT needs at least 3 times the power of the Dahlia (light blue on Mojo 2), but it outperforms the HFA easily at this stage.

I'm glad to have this headphone in my possession. :)

The question that's raising in me is, "What's next?" ^^

Eyeing to the The Composer after hearing it at High-End Munich.
But I'll be patient, or I'll try to be.

Composer is a whole different beast, typical for dynamic driver kick and sound coherency. It does nothing wrong but also isn’t exceptional at anything. Imho despite similar price bracket H2/H2GT is leaps above in terms of sound quality.

You may be right on this as I only had a listen in show conditions.

That's the reason I want to have a listen at home to make my decision about it. ;)
Quite liked the presentation out of the Mojo2 and even from my Xperia VI for testing purposes with my own music. :)
Don't like to compare headphones with genres I don't listen to that often.
Sadly many exhibitors had a very restricted collection of music to listen to.

You mean many exhibitors play awfull music.

Not joking, even I helped some exhibitors at High End munich 2 weeks ago. I am not a know it all, but I do have a developed music taste.

I still remember one time, a mcintosh importer playing music on the flagship speakers of sonus faber… well you have to be creative to make them sound so awfull that a average wallmart sounded better… that man was more busy playing what ‘he’ wanted to hear than what his audience wanted… I still remember when the music stopped somebody calling from the audience ‘finalllyyyy’😂🤦🏻‍♂️

I can relate to that.
Awfully for me, yes.

I guess, many like what the exhibitors choose, but that's not my alley.

Yeah, I do remember this back on High-End Munich 2004, where massiv High-End speakers were tortured with (for me) really bad music.

As I'm a music lover, instead of an "audiophile", I have to listen to my preferred tracks for a serious comparison.
Nothing beats your own ears (and mind) on that. :)

My preferred music for evaluating the capabilities of a headphone/ speakers is symphonic metal.
In this genre, you've all sounds you need to form your opinion about the hardware.

Many various instruments (piano, violin, flutes, bass, guitar sounds, percussion and many more) and way to often vocal performances, that're hard to beat.

My favourite album, of soooo many, is Synthesis by Evanescence.

Currawong just published his review of it.
- Cloth pads are incredibly muffled (he didn't use them)
- Warm tuning
- Dark, not that much treble, less brightness than he likes
- Small, narrow soundstage
- Very detailed
- Engaging without being fatiguing, you can still hear the sharpness of guitars
- Some Harshness in the midrange, which led to:
- He actually modified them with tape (lol!), which made the imaging better and reduced the harshness

Stock cables are with TS plugs, most (used) after market cable came with TRS plugs.
Will they work with the GT?
