If only there wasn't this bass drop off.
Hopefully they do a Heddphone V2 consumer Edition with some more subbass.

Also is that a magnetic earpad swapping mechanism?

I picked up a HEDD V1 during CanJam yesterday! It's my favorite open back headphone, and I am in love with how it sounds. However, I'm having a few issues with it, and have emailed HEDD Audio about it, but I'm also going to check here.

Issue 1: The drivers make crinkling noises. I understand that this is normal, but it seems excessive with my pair to the point where I hear them crinkling even if I breathe deeply, or turn my head the tiniest bit. So far I've listened to the HEDDphone for about 6 hours total, and the crinkling noises have not lessened whatsoever

Issue 2: On the sides of both ear cups where the yolks join the plastic there are some hairline cracks perpendicular to the yolk. This is deeply unsettling, and it saddens me to see this on a brand new product.

Basically, what I want to know is if these are known QC issues with the HEDD V1. If anybody could fill me in on this that'd be great~

Issue 1 is absolutely normal imho. There is no crinkling during playback.
I get crinkling during playback which is the main issue. I wouldn't mind if it were happening when no music is playing

Talk to HEDD support then.
alright yeah thanks! quick question: I sent a message over HEDD Audio's website; is that the correct course of action, or is there a specific email I need to send a message to?

also, any info about those hairline cracks in the earcups I mentioned? here's a picture of what i'm talking about (crack is circled)

Why would you even think that these are cracks? To me these are just seams between upper and lower part of the cover. Mine has exactly the same. Never even bothered to think about them. Unbelievable how picky people can be.
they are quite literally cracks lol

1. they're different lengths on both sides
2. they're uneven/slightly jagged
3. one side doesn't even have them

also even if they weren't cracks, it's ridiculous that uneven seams are acceptable on a $1900 headphone
