More practical, and less ludicrous, sure. It was work in progress. Here is version 2. Actually quite pleased with it, comfort wise. The rubber has a pleasant lasting cooling effect.

Hey guys!

I've got a Heddphone (V1) in my hands here and the headbands' not fitting my head. Does anyone know how much the V2 headband cost from Hedd and is it user replaceable? The unit seems to be out of the warranty period.
I tried getting in touch with hedd (from their website) and their rep here (on the forum) but no reply yet. I couldn't find the answer on the this thread as well.
Any help will be greatly appreciated

Yes, I have. The Ampersand's 3Wpc drives the HEDDphone brilliantly, with plenty of headroom to spare.

Has anyone found that the bass on the Heddphone sounds better when you break the seal on your ears? I read somewhere the bass on the Abyss 1266 has better bass when you break the seal on your ears. Am I tripping? Can anyone confirm?

I haven't tried that with the HEDDphone. The clamping force is strong with that one, and it resists me. But having owned the Abyss, I can confirm that does happen on the AB-1266.
