Might have to grab a pair just because... Then resell them and make $70

I've tried a multitude of headphone offerings from Guitar Center and the ATH-M50 just beat everything to a pulp. I first tried some cheap AKG (K44...I think) Shure SRH 440 and the 840 as well. I also tried the Beyerdynamic DT770 (80 ohm) which would have been my choice had I not heard the M50. I will give credit to the DT770 for appearing to have better build quality. The only brand I didn't try that they had was KRK. Not sure or not if I should've tried em.

Well I have done some listening for myself, and I have decided I want something that sounds like beats. By that I mean as far as I care, the sound quality is fine, and I like the "fun" sound they have. Except, I'm not willing to pay $300 for a pair of headphones. I want the pair I get to fold, look cool, and be comftorable. What headphones in my range sound like beats?

My favorite thing is the bass, TBH

XB500s...and XB500s. If you're willing to use EQ, that opens things up a bit.

Bump!
I ended up buying the xb500's, and while they were exactly what I was looking for... My ears are becoming more tuned and the sound is not as satisfying to me anymore :) I have been looking around and refined my criteria a little bit (this list is in order of want)

Comfort
Sound Quality
Folding
Detachable cord
Durable
Nice looking

I definitely prefer a sound signature with bass emphasis.
I have done some research and found these models but I am just looking for more suggestions
SRH 750DJ
ATH M50
Pro 700 mk2
HFI 580
Vmoda M80
Maudio Q40
Beyer Dt770
ultrasone pro 550
HFI 580

and the top of my budget is about $175.
I would be open to buying new pads, but am not sure I am into doing a ton of modding (prefferably, none at all)

bump
refined my criteria a little, looking for a folding comfortable pair still, but something with a good sound stage that does good with all genres but is still closed. iI also want it to be not unattractive

for sound sig am looking for something with a slightly sparkly treble and an emphasis on sub bass more than mid bass.

what headphones would work?
above average sound stage is a must
