I have been wondering this for a long time,but my roomate since to have some senns that look like the HD 598's
but it has a black head band instead of white/gold ones, but the speakers themselves are gold. so, which model are these?
he had it for like 2 years now.

If the headband its built the same way as HD 598 ie covered with leatherette and not plastic alone, its is very likely to be the HD 595.

yeah, looks something like that, but it doesn't have any markings on it, no L or R, no HD 595
