LOL....what are us Americans supposed to do though. How do we "buy American" when Toyotas are made in the USA and Fords are made in Korea??

I hadn't seen "made in Japan" in any of my Japanese products until this week: looks like a lot of Canon stuff is staying authentic and are still "made in Japan". Though I doubt all the internal parts are made in Japan though......

If I recall correctly, the parts are made in Japan, only the final assembling is done in the country where the car is being sold. Easier to ship parts than whole cars
