I'd recomend you try a pair of Sennheiser HD485's[that's what I use and they're great imho.....and btw I listen to rock on them.... today I listened to the new Queen reissues]

On second thought, I don't think the ZX700 is liquid crystal, I was confused.
Still, they're selling at a very good price, just like the EX600's.
