Hey I'm not getting any response over at the full headphone size place . I have 100 dollars and want the best headphones I can get for that much. As of now I am considering Sony xb500 and Sennheiser hd280 and I can't decide. If you know of any better that I can get for 100 that's fine too. I usually listen to electronic, indie rock, sometimes dubstep, and yah that's basically it.

The HD280 has very strong but tight bass, while the Sony XB series has booming midbass. The HD280 has better isolation, but the XB500 is more comfortable. I think they are both available at Best Buy, so I would suggest trying them out and deciding which one you like.
