  absolutely love that stand, very minimal very well done.  my only concern is the knurled top post wearing the headband... perhaps fitting a piece of soft rubber tubing with the same inner diameter as the post would offer the headband a bit of protection without killing the style.

Fair call, and something I have thought about too. It hasn't bothered me too much (also since its currently being used on a sturdy HD25) but I reckon black heatshrink piping would be perfect as it will cling on and maintain that minimalist profile.
