I use these all over the place to hold my various cans in different spots. Theyve never been anything but awesome on book shelves, desks and tables: LINK

Sennheiser HH-10

I just bought the Woo Audio stand because it looks nice and itll hold the one headphone Im currently using at my desk when its not on my head.

Nice rig but you might want to get it off the amp so it can breathe...

That amp does not get hot, but even if it does in the back portion of those top vents there is a huge heatsink with fan on it that vents out of the top part not covered by the headphone stand. Though I have never once heard that fan turn on even after hours of using the amp as both a headphone or speaker amp.

My bad...in that case you should move it back so it covers more vents. If there is no heat the vents are only letting dust in...

Seriously nice rig...cheers!

Ha, well there are vents in the front too so its the same either way. My office is pretty low dust too so Im not too worried about it. I dust pretty regularly too since I cant stand the stuff!

Thanks! I like it. I have an UberFrost on the way too which I will have anodized and dyed all black to match the rest of my gear. To give you an idea of what thatll look like:

So far as I know no one has done a Bifrost, so Im hoping to be the first :)

Bought 2 of http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A3CMAYY/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which look nice enough on their own for the price but decided then that they just took up too much desk space so I trashed the stand part and anchor bolted the heads into the underside of my desk.  The T1 on the right are always powered on through the McIntosh D100 while the LCD-X are powered through the WA7 which is line level-ed out from the D100 when I want to really enjoy the music.  Paradigm MilleniaOne CT are pre-amped out from the D100. Ety ER4s for travel and a pair of Sony mdr-7520 for around town or on the road use when I have space to spare.

Not a bad idea, but expensive for how much of it you ended up using. The Sennheiser HH-10 IMO would have been a better solution. Its black to match your other components and furniture better and its nicely padded.

I looked at the sennheiser first which is infact what gave me this idea.  i already had the stands so it wasnt an additional cost.  for me however the senns are a bit too big looking and plastic.  i wanted something discrete and aluminum which this fits perfectly.  but yes if i could bend bar aluminum with any skill i could have saved alot of money.  they look very professional up close though and hold the headphones perfectly.  am thinking to put a 1/4" of self adhesive neoprene on the top of each to give a nice cushion.

Hey everyone...I figured I'd update this thread and hopefully get it rolling again!

Larry Dale at Headphile just finished another headphone stand for me,and I couldn't help but want to share the pics with you all...

He had some special cocobolo stock with the lighter accents, so this has sort of a custom look to it....it's his "tall" double classic stand, in case anyone is interested. He does absolutely BEAUTIFUL work, as you can easily tell :)
