Headphone Stand Picture Thread

Beautiful. Whats he charge for those?

It basically depends on the options you choose...he has a calculator thing on his site where you can try different combinations....I paid right around two bills for this one. His stuff isn't inexpensive, but it's really something special in my opinion. I also like supporting small one-man operations where the individual has mad talent, cause it gives all of us more choices as consumers. This is my third Larry Dale stand...there is another one in my profile somewhere...it's a purple heart stand with the T1s on it. I get tons of compliments from people when they see them in person.

Quite a bit more than I could justify paying for a headphone stand but you are right that stand is something special. Beautiful and handcrafted like that. Im sure it is even more beautiful in person! Great conversation piece and fancy way to show off some nice cans!

I agree 100%...definitely not cheap, but very beautiful and a special purchase. Thanks for taking the time to post about it...next time I talk to Larry I'll pass along the kind words about his work :)

I purchased this for 4.99 shipped. Beats pretty much anything else at the under 10 price range and works great. Just get some double sided tape as it will tend to tilt over if you push them a little bit in any direction. The base is lacking weight but it does the job well for the price.

For the price is looks great.

do you have to sticker it to the table? looks like it would fall over made of plastic.

At the moment no I don't. It doesn't fall over that easy. itll fall over if the headphones aren't on it. With the headphone on it it's actually really stable. The added weight keeps it there.

I've got to give a shout out to Master & Dynamic and their MP1000 headphone stand.
A simple yet elegantly-refined design that doesn't shout for attention and keeps the footprint at a minimum.
Perfect for the Audeze with ample room for the connectors under the cups.

Looks great and minimal, but isn't that really expensive for what amounts to a curved piece of metal?

Boy, you really haven't been into head-fi / HiFi long if you're protesting the cost of a 'curved piece of metal'.

Besides, minimalist design shouldn't have to go hand in hand with minimalist price.
Given the weighted base, crosshatched detailing on the base & 'curved piece of metal' supporting the can itself, the laser etched logo and electroplated finish,
I consider this stand quite cheap compared to other visual monstrosities such as the Woo Audio stands, and the Sievkings.

absolutely love that stand, very minimal very well done.  my only concern is the knurled top post wearing the headband... perhaps fitting a piece of soft rubber tubing with the same inner diameter as the post would offer the headband a bit of protection without killing the style.
