My mind can't process this. Is this some kind of epic troll?

That was my first thought.  They could also be knockoffs of some sort?

If not, congrats

Haha just setting them on top of my head like a retard. I thought pads were just for comfort? Either way I can't ****ing wait I guess

You've got to get yourself some of them earpads. They increase the comfort level a little.
But please write a review first about HP-2(no pads) through an ipod.

They are serious contender for best Grado under $100.

No, the pads keep the bass in.  With no pads, they are going to be tinny and mostly trebley midrange.  Maybe not though, maybe you discovered the next big thing.  HP2 earspeakers?

I don't know I might rather have an SR60

SR60 costs three times more. If you are on a budget, it is a straight choice between this $25 HP-2 and the $30 SR100 you mentioned the other day.

Congratulations, what a nice buy. As for why they were sold, my guess would be that they came from deceased family member or friend, and the person actually selling it probably wasn't into audio.

Wow, If you think about it this way then I'm quite sad. What happens if the person who bought these were murdered or something o.o But regardless, you have found an incredible deal and I'm pretty sure a couple thousand people are jealous of you right now.

Well, I think this beats the $11 M50 deal.

Mmmm.... debatable.
For 25 bucks, you can either get two pair of brand new, highly regarded modern headphones(with change).
or a pair of old headphones that don't even come with earpads.

^ are you joking???

these are $1000 dollar headphones, not 150 dollar headphones. The difference is huge. The OP probably doesn't even have an amp or decent source to power these with, which makes me cry.
