Hello,
I got a Ultrasone Pro 2900 and would like to buy a suitable headphone amp to go with it.
I have heard good things about the Little Dot MKII. I like the idea of a tube amplifier, but how do I know if this one will work well with the Ultrasone Pro 2900?
The main audio source for now will be my MacBook Pro (films and digital music).
Mike
Update: I decided to go with the Little Dot MK I+ hybrid amp and am extremely pleased with the combination. The amp really opens up the sound stage and gives a lot more resolution to the base. The base is nice and tidy without being quite as overpowering as with a Koss PortaPro, for example. It also exposes the mids a bit more, which makes vocals sound a lot more real. Overall I would describe the sound of this combination as very warm and open, whilst still retaining enough detail.
