I use se530s as well, and it's a perfect match for me. The precise attenuation is just fantastic, and I like how the channels are matched even at low volumes. I find I listen somewhere between 9 and 10pm depending on the music.

That is a simply brilliant design element, Justin.  Never realized it.  Thanks for sharing.

just another way of doing it (not the first time) that may result in lower noise by keeping gain levels as low as they need to be.

Yeah, that was an issue, for example, with the HifiMAN HM-801 amp modules, where the first gen. standard ST module had too much gain and the GAME (IEM) optional amp module had too little for some of the higher impedance IEMs.  The 2nd gen ST module fixed that but doing it this way definitely has its advantages.  The Pico Slim is completely "dark" between passages, just like a high-end full-sized amp.

Justin,

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome - The wait has been well worth it - you are a genius. Oh forgot to mention using Slim with JH-16's, Ipod Classic 160GB loaded with AIFF's & Whiplash Audio TWag Micro LOD Cable.

What a fantastic experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  :))))))

i've talked to Craig @ Whiplash Audio and I'll be able to offer the TWag micro LOD with the Pico Slims, for those of you who want a low-profile LOD cable with a side cable exit. I have checked one with the Pico Slim to make sure it the length is perfect.

I'm bound to offer these for the same price as Craig, $120 at this time. If you're interested you don't have to do anything now. When I start taking payments for the Pico Slim in about a week you'll have the option to add one to your order. It will ship in the same box with the Pico Slim at no extra cost.

Justin,

I received my Pico Slim #222 a couple of weeks ago and it's great, but the TWAG LOD which was included has a connector considerably different to the one pictured above.  The connector it was received with is the exact same connector I got with my RSA cables.  I understand that it's TWAG who makes this cable, but I thought I'd ask you since I purchased it from you.

Can you please provide insight into if this was known or if it was an oversight.

Thank You

You'll have to ask Craig, he probably changed the connector he uses.

I got mine a week ago directly from Craig, exactly as pictured on his website.  It shows the more compact LOD connector they are being shipped now.  The one pictured by Justin may have been a prototype although only Craig can answer it.  I love the new micro-LOD, goes well with the 6G Nano and the Pico.

Purple sounds cool to me!  (I'm number 300)

Have you got any pictures of the purple and orange cases you could post?

BTW Justin - Have PM'd you twice about my order.  I no longer need the Twag LOD - please could you cancel and refund this part of my order?

Thanks
