You mentioned the Pico Slim attenuates so much more than most amps so you can use sensitive headphones with a hot source.  Well, just how much voltage input can the Pico Slim take without clipping?  RMS and peak to peak.  As long as I don't clip, the hotter the input the better the potential sound quality with this amp?  Some variable output sources go hotter than most line level would and cause trouble with other amps.  I wonder how they would behave with the Pico Slim.
 
I have yet to find a source with my sensitive headphones that I can use the first 1/3rd of knob rotation and hear anything at all.

It will accept 36V peak-to-peak.  Which is different from many digital volume controls, which can only accept peak to peak levels up to their power supply voltage

Justin may be the worst businessman on the planet. After waiting patiently for months I received a shipping notification last week that my slim was about to be shipped. Today he notified me that the notification was a mistake and I would have to wait two more weeks because he ran out of silver enclosures. I want my money back!

If you've waited this long, you should wait the additional 2 weeks.  The slim is a sweet amp.  I waited 7 months for mine, I wouldn't be dropping out with 2 weeks to go.

While I agree that Spiritboxer should wait the two additional weeks, as I finally received my Pico Slim and think it is a great amp, but I understand where he is coming from.  It annoyed me to no end all the times Justin would say he was going to do this or that on a certain date only to have that date slip by days and weeks.  Is he a government entity 

  I try to do what I say and say what I think I can do, so I do not appreciate they way the Pico Slim was handled.  For example, I bought the Stepdance, which went on sale well after the Pico Slim, but received it many weeks sooner.  Bottom line is most customers want to be told what is actually going to happen, and then it happens.  If there is going to be a delay, so be it, but let me know.  That IMO is good customer service.  /rant

Now that the first 250 have been sent out, it is #250-500 that are being worked on.  Inquiries from dealers are at an all-time high and they are quickly eating up the ones still available below #500.  Because I have been ordering parts for 250 at a time, it will likely be Jan/Feb before #s over 500 are available.  So if you want a Pico Slim this year, you probably need to get in now.

Up to #260 now.  After RMAF, I'll be shipping at a rate of 50/week.  I may be able to get 10 or 20 done before that.  The ones labeled as Private take 1/2 as much time to build because there is only 1 email address to deal with, 1 shipping address, and no combination of power plugs, USB cables, TWag LODs, special instructions etc.

Thanks much for quick response. I am 284 in list . Will be able to get this by Mid October by any chance. I will be traveling would really love to have this sweet amp with me to pass time on flight.Also what is RMAF ? .
