I totally envy whomever was clever enough to think of getting a two-tone one.

I'm just about ready to order the Pico Slim for my Weston's 4R's when I noticed the Pico Power.
Is this replacing the Pico Slim? Will I get better SQ over the Slim using the 4R's and a Itouch?

Thanks,,,Joe

I'm not sure you would need the extra power of the Pico Power for an IEM like the Westone 4Rs.
If I were in your shoes I would go with the Pico Slim without much second thought.

Batteries:

hey all,

Im trying to sort out batteries in anticipation of my Pico Power. Im not really tech savvy. Im heading towards rechargeable, so remember that as I live in Australia, Im limited to something that will fit my outlet and run off 240v....I tried all local battery retailers and electronics suppliers. All only had Ni-MH with 200mha.

Ive found these on evil bay and am wondering if they look ok?

Is there a preference for running Ni-MH over Li-ion?

Is there a difference between Li-ion and lithium polymar? (can a lithium polymar battery be charged on a lithium ion charger?

cheers
Serg

Hi Serg,
My advice is to postpone the purchase of batteries until receive the amp. Detailed answers to the battery topic you can find here http://batteryuniversity.com/learn/

feliks,

Justin has stated on a number of occasions that the amp will be supplied with two disposable Duracell batteries to get purchasers started.

I'm just still not sure that the amplifier will come without any batteries
