The SR-407 is normally paired with the SRM-006tS for $2000 (the SRS-4170 combo), which puts it up against some serious competition. The  headphone is $580 by itself, but the SRM-006tS is one expensive amp. That combo would have to be as good as the average flagship/matching amp stack to justify that price.
 
Justin, I know you've mentioned that the SRM-323S can power even the Omegas, but what's your take on the additional amount of performance that can be extracted from a Lambda series Stax by upgrading to the more expensive amps? 
 
I know we all want the SR-009 and BHSE, but that's a little pricey.

I can see why not many people do what Justin is doing. So many hassles go along with a program like this.

People, or actually, likely one person, may be ruining the most generous program every administered.  Justin does not deserve this crap. 
 
Hope it's merely a communication issue - that's my 'give people a chance' side.................the other side says there is no excuse.  Email/PM/something?!?!

I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt but a check doesnt get lost in the mail...twice. As of yesterday he is still communicating but is stalling for reasons unknown to me. Based on prior experience i would expect communication to become less frequent and then stop entirely.

This is unbelievable.

I think moving forward, you should only send demos out to people with a lot of positive feedback and/or has been a frequent/long time/active user.

The demos work. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't have bought the LCD2s or been so interested in electrostatics after the SR407.
