Do I detect some flaws on the right-hand bottom mounting hole?
Seems there are 2 spots. On at about 10 o-clock just on the edge and a spot inside on the bottom of the hole.
Also on the top right hole no the edge at 4 and 6 o-clock.

Otherwise I like it.

there is a tiny flaw there from when the anodizer racked the part. i did say near perfect. if not good enough, i would retire immediately

I'm putting together another audio rack and I'm wondering how much headroom to allow for the BHSE and EL34s?  The 300b tubes on my ECBA get to 140* F at the very top of the tubes and this is no problem, even with very little (1/2") clearance.  I know the EL34s will get hotter, I'm just wondering if a couple inches of clearance will be enough.  Has anyone taken the surface temperature on the EL34s?  Thanks . . .

Does anyone in Southern California have a BHSE that would be interested in bringing it to a mini-meet this Friday, 1/3, in Irvine? I know it's a long shot because of the short notice, but we are looking to do an electrostatic amp "shoot out" and thought it would be more complete if we had a BHSE there too. Let me know if you know anyone who might be willing to participate with their BHSE.

We have a new prototype Russian electrostatic amp/DAC that we will be comparing.

Please PM me if interested.

Thanks,
-Darin
