It must be an emo song.  A whiny, petulent emo song.  Life sure is hard for us first-worlders and our inordinately long wait times for our bespoke amplification for the collection of luxury headphones we have.

I remember the song now: I've been loving you too long, by Otis Redding (1941 - 67). A "first-worlder" for sure.

Can anyone here comment on the operating temperatures of the BHSE? It's pretty much this or build the T2 for "end-game" but the latter has been reported to run super hot.

Wont be more than 40C around the amp. And you still can touch the faceplate without any problems. You dont want to touch the tube though.

For T2, as far as I know not many people can commission building it. I know Kevin Gilmore built it before, and chinsetta too and maybe spritzer. but no commercial builder have ever done it.

Well I'd be building the T2, I just can't justify running it if it gets too crazily hot (on the sinks). 40C on the sinks seems fairly reasonable though, thanks for the info.

Those EL34s are sitting at around 95+ C most likely, some care should be taken not to touch them.

There are very few T2DIYs out in the wild. I don't think Birgir ever finished his build, which is a testament to how rare the build is.

Maybe the pantless one can fix it for you?
Betcha he knows all about them 740 volt batteries that go ping-pong in the dark.
