Do the more recent model HD800's have a tamer treble response peak? Mine is an early model and its bad on solid state amps. Any HD800 experts here?

I find Hifiman HE-5LE brighter than HD800 (serial number 10036). It's just right for orchestral music, not overpowering but it's not bright enough for techno.
