Any updates on thr HD600 grills? I have a set of HD580s on the way and am interested in attempting this upgrade. I've e-mailed Sennheiser asking the same, but I'm not sure what their typical turnaround is.

I never received mine, nor was my credit card ever charged. I guess they were just ignoring the "internet site motivated" orders.

I ordered this afternoon. Unfortunatly, it seems that there are no more hd600 grills available. The sales rep mentioned that the only grill they had where like $37 or something and fit both the 650 and 600, which makes me believe either three things:

Well, I thought I was lost in the paperwork, but I finally received my grills today, almost 5 months since I ordered, lol. The positive to this is that my headphones look great!! Who knew that a mesh grill could make such a dramatic aesthetic difference.

I just ordered a pair of 600 grills direct from Sennheiser. They said 3 days shipping.

They're backordered yet again. Seems the few they recently had sold out quickly. HD650 Grill #092815 @ $7.93 each are not expected back in stock until late September - early October.

The 600 grills are $7.93 ea. The 650 grills are a lot more, like $30 something each, I think.

Argh.... my typo as you're right about the pricing. I meant 600 vice 650. At least I had the correct part number for the 600 grills
