I had the ATH-M50s for 2 years. I loved them, but had to give them away so i'm looking for a new pair of cans. I listen mainly to hip-hop, rap, and lots of electronica, no amp and straight from my laptop or iPod Touch. 
 
I'm looking for another pair of cans around ~$100 that can rival the M50s but offer more bass and maybe a more "fun" sound signature. Closed or semi-closed is a must. It seems like the only other headphones with a similar price are the Q40s, AKG K240s, SRH-440s, Denon 1001s, and so forth. 
 
Which pair of cans should I be looking at? Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

Thanks for the replies. I've decided to go with the Sony XB500 

 
Will burn them in for ~50 hours and play with the EQ settings and let you guys know how it turns out.
