The Finisair FCBG110SD1C05 is an all in one with the modules molded right in. The last two digits are the code for length, so in my example you’d have a 5 meter cable, $62 at Mouser. Considered one of the best and no fussing around with modules matching cables.

Thanks for the suggestion! Would it be possible to get a shorter cable since 5 meter long cable would be way too long in my system? I couldn't figure it out on the site.

I asked gustard support for few questions and here are replies:
1. is it possible to set a permanent IP address at the DAC level? /Is it possible to set a permanent IP address at the DAC level? /ssh or... --No, not at the moment. 2.
2. how fast is the Ethernet port? The router shows 100Mb, is this true? --YES
3. is it possible to use tidal connection on android phone? --Tidal connect is beta only and may be unstable.
Note: Android phones or tablets will need to use the July 2022 version (v2.64.2). PC and Apple are not affected

A bit OT, but for those long time R26 owners who may be idly contemplating their next move whenever that may be, here's a pretty cool listening comparison of the May KTE and T&A DAC200 incl both PCM and DSD tracks via HQPlayer.

Have a listen to a few PCM and DSD tracks before reading the comments or jumping to the conclusion, see if you can pick which one is DAC A and which is DAC B.

As promised, I am providing a link to the improved 1v43 firmware.

R26_1v43_no_random_MAC.zip

This is the original firmware in which I disabled random MAC. If someone uses Roon, after uploading to R26 you need to re-enable R26 in Roon Audio
To the question: why did they enable random MAC? I don't understand it at all. Normally this is used for security on public Wi-Fi, but these are devices operating on home networks, so...
When it comes to using Tidal connect on Android, the problem is with certificates. What Gustard shared in firmware 1v43 is the same as what I shared earlier. They didn't come up with anything new because they would have to pay for a certificate, so they used what can be found on GitHub. That's why it doesn't work very well.

Will this work on the AH90 too?
It’s still the Gustarender1v43.
Looks like they have a “s” version out now too.
