FW 1.3 comes with NAA. Yours most likely will have 1.3 pre-installed. HQP should find it automatically.Hi R26 Owners
my R26 is on the way and should arrive tomorrow
I have read that it is possible to connect via SSH to the device and install HQPlayer NAA service.
What username and password should I use for this?
Thanks for your help
Best
Dominik

Yeah I've asked on the dx300 thread but nobody seems to know if usbc out would work. I'm still trying to gather info on how nice can use the dx300 with R26.Look into your Dx300, i think to remember it has also usbc out. So u could use then a usb-c to usb-b cable to stream directly to the r26

My R26 has a ceramic fuse of 2.5 A. I have a voltage of 230V. At least it's a ceramic fuse, not glass, but the value seems too high to me? In terms of voltage, I would probably need 0.5A at most?

I did all that but no luckMake sure you hit the Stream button on the remote and set R26 to LAN function

IIRC, the replacement Gustard fuse should be 3.15A.My R26 has a ceramic fuse of 2.5 A. I have a voltage of 230V. At least it's a ceramic fuse, not glass, but the value seems too high to me? In terms of voltage, I would probably need 0.5A at most?

Is the R26 displaying DSD 2.8mhz? That means the streamer booted up properly when you switched to the LAN input. If it does not it may require a full power off and power back on to reset. Mine had that issue with the original firmware.I did all that but no luck
Actually I had the same problem at first (sorry, forgot to mention) and was advised to do a firmware upgrade. This fixed it!I did all that but no luck

why do you say that? you are sure? Under what condition will this fuse save your device? your device will burn out faster than the 3.15A fuseIIRC, the replacement Gustard fuse should be 3.15A.
I bought a 3.15A fuse because the gustard fuses listed on shenzen recommened that with the r26. To quote them:why do you say that? you are sure? Under what condition will this fuse save your device? your device will burn out faster than the 3.15A fuse
"Select 630mA for U16/U18/C18/C16/X16/H16/A18/X18. Select 1.6A for p26. Select 3.15A for X22/A22/X26/H20/X26PRO/R26"
If an "audiophile" fuse costs 100 USD I'd buy a 15 A. But soon we will hear about the magic a 10 mm metal string can provide.why do you say that? you are sure? Under what condition will this fuse save your device? your device will burn out faster than the 3.15A fuse

Yes, but isn't same if you use 120 V, or 230 V. With 120V you need high value fuse, with 230V low value fuse.I bought a 3.15A fuse because the gustard fuses listed on shenzen recommened that with the r26. To quote them:

Sure, you seem to be willing to spend your hard-earned money on useless stuff, buy a 630 mA fuse and waste 25 euros. Your money.Yes, but isn't same if you use 120 V, or 230 V. With 120V you need high value fuse, with 230V low value fuse.

FWIW - 230V fuses are usually a lower amperage value than 115V fuses. As an example here are the fuse specs for my Holo Audio Spring 3:
220-230V 50/60Hz - Fuse Type 2A Slow blow 5x20mm
110-115V 50/60Hz - Fuse Type 4A Slow blow 5x20mm
I'm surprised that there aren't different spec fuses nominated for the different voltages.
Before spending money on a new fuse replace the fuse with a wire temporarily and see if it makes a difference, if fuse is worth the money it should be night and day with a wire.
The circuit after the xformer is usually the same and the AC voltages are handled by different primary xformer windings.FWIW - 230V fuses are usually a lower amperage value than 115V fuses. As an example here are the fuse specs for my Holo Audio Spring 3:
