Okay -- in reference to my post above --

The Denon D2000's have finally bloomed!

After 2 days constant burn-in time, they have opened up nicely -- now they do indeed sound better than the V600 I compared them with above.

The V600 is good for the price, though.

But the D2000 have forged ahead SQ-wise. Overall better-sounding now than earlier. Burn-in once again proves itself! I'll let them burn-in for at least 100+ hours total and see what happens.

My listening (so far) has been with my tiny Tomahawk -- I'm guessing that when I use one of my bigger amps, the SQ will improve even more.
