Grado SR80 over ATH-M50?

SR-80s are good but forget about long gaming sessions , the M50s to my ears sound extremely grainy and harsh ..so night gaming - no good , your ears will not be happy about the harshness 
Why not take a look at the Brainwavz HM5 , subtle , much much better comfort than either , fantastic sound !

They slay my "better" headphones when it comes to bass ..they have a great extension , more mid-bass accentuation but still incredible for the price , extremely tight and well defined

M50 is no go for gaming and sound stage. Ears get warm and uncomfortable after 1-2 hrs usage.

The NVX XPT100 are the same cans as the HM5 and go for $80 online, they are reasonably neutral. The M50 have more of a boosted bass and scooped mids if that's what you're looking for.
