I recently replaced my Grado 125s with 325s. Several years ago I purchased a Little II not a Little Dot II + but yes a Little Dot II. Tube rolling is near impossible. But here is my dilemma. Here is what I'm think about doing three options.
Option 1: Keep the Little Dot purchase new tubes and leave it a that. (boring but possibly sensible).
Option 2: Keep the Little Dot buy new tubes and buy a DAC.
Option 3: Trash the little Dot (harsh) and purchase a new tube amp. (like'n the darkvoice 336se).
Ultimately I do not want to spend more then $300 and that's the top of the range. Would be very happy at around $200 - $250 but will stretch to $300, hopefully without regrets.
Help and thoughts......Thanks.
