I'm hoping its my inexperience with my new 325is and using a 1/4 to 1/8 adaptor, but the right driver makes zero sound when plugged in through an 1/8 adapter to my computer/ipod/whatever i could find with and 1/8 input. However when I plug the 1/4 in to my bass guitar output (active pickups) both drivers emit sound with with the right side being distorted.

If someone could shed some light on my situation before I exchange these things I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

That adapter is a mono female to stereo male. You'll need an adapter that is stereo to stereo.
