i'd never heard john mayer do this song, killer !
john has really matured as a player/performer. i really didn't dig him all that much in the beginning
but as he's evolved, i like him more and more
thanks for posting !

and and the song ? don't get much "bluesier" that that

Same here I just got an album of his and I plan to get some more. He does Hendrix better than Hendrix.

Had forgotten about him until I saw this.

I LOVE John Mayer. But he needs to stick to blues, that's what he does best I think. His live performances are always fantastic.

And the trio is back in the studio! Looks like we're in for another treat of an album in the near future

Guy is a killer player, and I like his stuff best, when with the trio!

Joe Beard Blues Union 1996 - " If you don't want to put out my fire, honey chile don't light the flame." Slow burn provided by Ronnie Earl.

I do believe Bruce Katz is on this album playing piano and B-3 as well.

Some Blues-Rock from J.J. Cale and Eric Clapton...  Cale greatly influenced Clapton and was the songwriter for Clapton's hits "Cocaine" and "After Midnight".
