me being from georgia, i tend to really love the music that has been produced from georgia natives
when i was a kid, we'd go to downtown macon, and the rev. pearly brown would be singing on the street.
my dad would give me money so i could go put it in pearly's cup.
while not strictly "blues" pearly lived a blues man's life, and his music got me started listening, and loving the blues

and if you have a half hour, here's a short about rev browns life.

Very interesting person here. Some say he is the son of Robert Johnson. All he will say is that Robert taught him how to play the guitar and specifically Blues on the guitar. You would think his mother would have told him who his dad was, but maybe, considering Robert Johnson's reputation, she thought better of it, or maybe he isn't related to Robert Johnson at all. Anyway. Personally I think he sounds a LOT like Pinetop Perkins. I would like to think he is Robert's son and we still have some small part of him with us.

You are welcome!
They are actually from my home state, and have seen them live many times! Yes Mato's playing is reminiscent of SRV, Jimi Hendrix and many other past greats.

From All Music:
The Nakota Nation members grew up on South Dakota's Yankton Indian Reservation and were inspired by their father, Greg Zephier, who had been a musician in the '60s and '70s and later became a spokesperson for Native American rights.
