I have a htc one, I see the akg 44 9n sake for 19 but I'm guessing smartphones don't have the power to push them properly.

What's a good headphone mostly closed to use my smartphone? I was guessing the jvc s400 or s500.

I think he wants over ears. The ones you mentioned are good. You can also get the Philips Downtown (was a great deal for the $100 list price) for 20-30 bucks on amazon. Only possible downside is they don't fold. If you want IEMs, along with the MH1C you can get the Xiaomi Pistons for $25.
