How do you like the G5, kugino?? I have not even made an attempt at trying a new driver in about three years, but I figure the time is coming.

Golf, YES.

Driver - R7 Quad, LH & RH
Woods - Callaway GBB 3 & 5
Irons - Ping S59 blades
Putter - Ping Pal LH

I play at Fiddlers Elbow CC which has 3 18s that are quite different. New Jersey has quite a few good places to play. I have been furtunate enough to play many of them (Pine Valley still awaits my slice) but the most spectacular course I've played thus far has been Pebble Beach.

NICE i was thinking of making a thread like this!

Driver: Callaway 2004(?) Big Bertha Driver
Woods: Callaway Steelhead III 3 and 5 wood
Irons: Callaway 1995 Big Bertha
Wedges: Titleist Vokey Nickle 54 degrees sand wedge
Putter: Ping G2 Anser

I'm so satisfied with my set now that I have no want to change at all (unlike my headphone rig). Maybe except for new shafts and grips and a lob wedge to replace the one I lost.

If you're a new player, definitely get the 1995 Big Bertha Irons. No other iron set is as forgiving as the big berthas and the 1995 version is probably the best iron set that Callaway put out in its history. I'm a pretty experianced player but the big bertha irons work so well for me that I have no willingness to trade up. The only problem is that its a little hard to try to shape the ball, but you know, if you're irons go straight why the heck are you complaining?

oh and I play most of my golf at Bethpage Red,Blue and Green

I played Black once and I got murdered

i'm a strong iron player, but my driving is the worst part of my game. that being said, the G5 is as good as any driver i've had. i actually hit an old TM 360 driver quite well...

i want to try that new callaway ft-5, the square-headed driver. ugly? yes...but i've heard it actually works...

Driver: Titleist 905S
Woods: Titleist 980F
Irons: Titleist 962's (yeah, they're getting quite old)
Wedges: Cleveland CG11's 52 & 56 degree, Maxfli 60
Putter: Scotty Cameron Pro Platinum
Ball: Titleist Pro-V1x

I play mostly where I work. I'm the assistant superintendent at Centennial Country Club. The best course I've played is probably The Kingsly Club in northern MI. Just a fantastic piece of property turned in to a magnificent golf course.

I used to golf a few times a week, but I stopped when all of my buddies moved away and got married and such.

Driver: 04' Adams RPM 8° Loft. w/ Adila NV 65 Shaft (tour stiff)
Woods: Custom one-off Callaway warbird 3 and 5 wood
Irons: I have 2 sets. Adams blade style 3-PW and some Taylor Made knock offs
Wedges: Cleveland 588 53° and 60° gunmetal color
Putter: Original Acushnet Bullseye putter, a newer Titleist Scotty Cameron Bullseye, and an older Ping standard blade putter.

Nice golf courses are a dime a dozen here in Phoenix. During the summer months we played some premier courses for $20. There's also nothing like getting comped at Troon North or TPC Scottsdale because your buddy knows a Pro. That also carried over to Torrey Pines where he got 2 foursomes comped. We looked like bafoons out there in our cargo shorts, tight polos, and sweat stained Wal-Mart golf hats. LoL.

When I was playing I was drooling over the Ping i3s for so long. I actually went to PING and got measured for a custom fitted set. But I never pulled the trigger.
