So I got my girlfriend an iPod nano for our anniversary, but I dread the thought of her using the worthless buds that come with it. She can respect good sound, she uses the HD555's I got her quite often, but I don't expect her to use those as a portable can. So I am going to try to get her to use my KSC35/75 hybrids (35's with 75 clips and foam)...but I am almost sure she will say they are ugly and don't match the white/silver of the nano. So I was thinking, what is another reasonable portable can that I can find in white/grey/silver?

What comes to mind:
Senn PX100 (white)

AKG K27i (white/grey)

Koss KSC55 (silver/grey)

No IEM's, I believe she would object...hell I do!

Anyone compared these directly to one another? Have any other suggestions? I'd love to buy another K81DJ for her, but she doesn't think they are as cool as I do...can you believe it?

The thing with most girls and headphones is the don't want something that will mess up their hair. Be sure that shes cool with the headband or not while making sure they're stylish enough.

PX100 or KSC75, whatever you think she would like better. However, you might want to get some replacement pads if possible, because after a couple hours the stock pads can get a bit itchy.
