Gilmore X2 - coming......soon? with optional 24/96 Asynchronous USB DAC

Come on, nobody is expecting anything by now ... it's just fun to pick on the guy, I mean he named it, he touted it as the next best thing, people started waiting for it ... some even sold their Lites and GS1's. A year ago I even told somebody to wait for it and get the Burson 160D and this then return the one he likes less ... maybe he's still waiting. :)

What's funny is now that the GS1 is EOL too, unless he plans to build BHSE's for the rest of his life, and I can see why he would ... my guess is the X2 or maybe the X3 is almost ready. Two years max. :)

It will come soon --- like early 2011.  Something many people don't know is that the economy has made obtaining parts difficult...you would think it would make it easier.  Companies stopped making parts because they didn't know if they would have customers, which created long lead times, which did make them have fewer customers.  So there is often a long wait ...16 weeks, 25 weeks, 1 year....for many parts right now.  And some companies like RIM and Apple are taking the entire supply of some parts right now

Well, he might have a hard time to get some of the parts, let's hope that those company are still making them.

Justin, are there any plans to revive this project? The GS-1 is not available anymore the GS-X is overkill for my needs...

not at this time. i may consider bringing it back as some kind of limited edition resurrection of the Gilmore Lite.  The parts used in this design have just become too valuable.  They have now been discontinued for several years, and i have a finite supply.  There are no equivalent parts being made and most that are for sale in quantity are counterfeits from China
