Update note:
1. Added full-screen album cover display and spectrum display (can be set in FiiO Music settings -> Theme -> Now playing menu);
2. Added a new function of disabling the volume knob (This function is only for M15, it can be set in Settings -> Audio or in the pull-down shortcuts menu; And please note that when the volume knob is disabled, turning the knob will not directly adjust the volume but trigger the volume slider on the touch screen. In this case, you can adjust the volume using the volume slider, or control it through FiiO Link);
3. Added sorting by artist under the Album category;
4. Added displaying the total number of tracks in the track list;
5. Added a new function of switching between album list display or track list display under the Artist/Genre category;
6. Added support for using any image file as custom album cover;
7. Added a shortcut for toggling the All to DSD function in the pull-down shortcuts menu;
8. Added file sorting in FiiO Link mode;
9. Added sliding on the bottom control bar to skip tracks in FiiO Link mode;
10. Miscellaneous bug fixed.

How to update the firmware locally:

Download the firmware file then copy the firmware package file to the internal storage/micro SD card; Open 'Technical Support' app on the player, enter the 'Firmware Update'-'Local upgrade' menu, and select the firmware package file to upgrade.

@FiiO Re-scanned my library once again and there is an attempt to short albums by artist but the order is a bit messed up compared to the perfect order on UAPP.Right now the library is worst. All my DSD are marked as unknown and Albus from same artist are marked as from different artists

sure but the Fiio app is not working or at least the library management is poor. I would like actually to operate the Fiio at pure music mode but that's not possible.

@FiiO I love the new full-screen album cover display but could we also get a display option without the spectrum display? Currently, the only way to get the full-screen album cover art is to select one of three spectrum displays that take away the time-line. I can bring back the time-line by tapping the album cover, but a feature request would be make another now-playing display option: full-screen album cover display, no spectrum display, time-line where the spectrum display is.

It's been 3 years since the M11/M15 had a firmware update. What gives? The OS will not support present day apps, yet the devices are still for sale new and on your website. Are these bricks out of the box, or will you support the existing users of the M11/M15 line?

I enjoy it quite a bit. But as the apps are no longer supported, I'm using it less.

This may mean that part of the entire Fiio line is boned. Fiio claims the responsibility is on Samsung to update the chip to accept modern firmware. No was will Samsung invest in that - they've moved beyond this entire generation. The same chip is in a host of Fiio products, all of which are falling of the modern app pathway.

I hope FiiO will at the very least keep releasing bug fixes and new versions of the FiiO music app.
I know it is not ideal to stay with a very old Android version, but the OS is not the only piece here! Very important to keep getting improvements and bug fixes to FiiO's own apps back-ported to older devices like the M11.

The 'Buy now' button would not lead you to the link for ordering now. We do not have M11 for a long time. And M11, M11Pro M15 are all using 7872chip.
