I am going to wait... I bought some Tellurium Q Black II to test in my speaker setup first. If I get what I want from those... The V7vs will be on hold for a while.Been reading about the V7 as well, while considering the Cyan2 and the Audio-GD R1-NOS. At the same time, I still haven’t swapped in the SS2590 for the V6V (which replaced the SS3602). And then when I’m listening, I ask myself if I really will get much improvement with one of those new dacs. Very indecisive!
Let us know how the V7 does for you.

Hey, if you are only planning on using one (for single-ended), I’ll buy your 2nd unit.I am going to wait... I bought some Tellurium Q Black II to test in my speaker setup first. If I get what I want from those... The V7vs will be on hold for a while.
The V7V's are very tempting. Look like they'd fit without adapters.
These as well: https://www.alfarzpp.lv/eng/sc/AS402.php
Those are singles pictured. But without those adapters underneath.... you get the picture.

How did you get those Dual Pros to fit in the J2S? I just tried to install one for single-ended and found it didn't fit. (Them foolishly realized I had not bought the Dual version, so it wouldn't work anyway.)My V7V's will arrive today... I only bought 2. But I'm also using the SparkosLabs SS2590 Dual Pro's in all three sockets right now. And that... Well, that just sounds exactly as it should... Wonderfully Natural.
can you measure the eight of V7 (pins excluded)? I remember that the internal free eight was about 21 mm from the socket to the roof. thank youHow did you get those Dual Pros to fit in the J2S? Geshelli offers a taller aluminum case for the J2s. I ordered that and the Burson opamp extenders https://www.bursonaudio.com/shop/35mm-extension-lead-x-2/ and it was way easier.can you measure the eight of V7 (pins excluded)? Sorry, I was trying to fit the Sparkos SS2590, and it was too wide (front to back), not too tall. Unless it's OK to have it touching the jack on the rear panel.can you measure the eight of V7 (pins excluded)? I detailed how I was able to fit (3) SS2590s into a J2S here: J2S with Sparkos SS2590s It's tricky, but it has functioned flawlessly.Sorry, I was trying to fit the Sparkos SS2590, and it was too wide (front to back), not too tall. Unless it's OK to have it touching the jack on the rear panel.

The newer taller cases make this process super easy.I detailed how I was able to fit (3) SS2590s into a J2S here: J2S with Sparkos SS2590s It's tricky, but it has functioned flawlessly.
Thanks, @TedB . Is that SS2590 for the single-ended output rubbing up against that red jack housing in the back? Mine was touching, so I was worried. (Then I realized I didn't have a dual, and took it out before trying to use it.)I detailed how I was able to fit (3) SS2590s into a J2S here: J2S with Sparkos SS2590s It's tricky, but it has functioned flawlessly.

There was no contact as per my recollection. That position was an easy fit. Yes, duals are needed for all three DIP8 sockets. Thanks, @TedB .
