I thought I had already posted this, but I am looking for opinions on the German Maestro PMB 160. I like the looks, and I'd like to know how they are.

I guess these are similar to MB Quart QP15 that I had at some point or bigger brother QP30. They sound OK, nothing special, but for portable cans not bad at all. Somewhat dry and detailed sound with punchy yet shallow bass.

Well, that's good to know. The problem is that they look like a grown up pair of HD420's.

After I took yet another look they indeed very similar to QP15 and QP30.

They look a little less "finney", and the strap looks like it would increase comfort. Unfortunately, it comes at the cost of the fine metal mesh, which is definitely a negative.

Ah well they are still listed on the website of German Maestro and also available in their own online shop and other places.
