i was wondering if the sharkoon xtatic would be better than the turtle beaches.

Gaming headsets are just marketing products. They're just headphones. You're paying for the idea that they're meant for gaming. What they do it sap out quality and insert a microphone. My suggestion to you is to get a quality set of headphones that meet criteria of your liking, and get yourself a separate clip on microphone.
 
So... budget?

Go with THIS  it's  a really good headphone but you need to buy a mic for it try THIS one it's a clip on
