Hi,
I just bought the fiio e17k and am using it as a USB DAC for my PC.
When I set SPDIF Interface(FIIO USB DAC E17K) as the default device, I noticed a few issue with Kodi/XBMC (http://kodi.tv/)
Googling around, it seems like there are no problem with using the e17 as a USB DAC for kodi/xbmc so I am not sure if this issue is isolated to the E17K
This is what I encounter when the E17K is set as the default audio output in windows or the default audio output for kodi.
1) The loading screen appears for 5-10 seconds longer than usual. (It usually disappear after 1 second)
2) Frequent freezes when watching video when I try to move the window around, move the mouse around to show the video control etc (Sound would still play) (it doesn't happen with my on board sound card.)
I have tested and verified that this behavior happens on 2 of my computer one running windows 7 the other running windows 8.1.
I have tested with both Kodi (14.0) and XBMC Gotham (13.2) and both version of the application have the same problem.
I have tried reinstalling the DAC/Updating my graphic driver and the problem still exist.
I have tried using different USB cables and it still happens.
Is anyone else having the same problem?
Does the E10K have this problem?
