They are 40-50 years old tape recordings. So imo some hiss are to be expected...

Yeah I figured that and don't mind it. Though in quiet parts it is pretty prominent if you just concentrate on the music its really not noticeable. I was just making sure it wasn't a fault of my set up.

Honestly, I didn't think these recordings were as good as some my 'lowly' 44.1/16 classical recordings :p
