Found a service that will Convert my SACD collection to DSD

Just sent my second batch as I was waiting for the new Rage Against the Machine SACD  
 
He will convert ISSO to DSD as well

Yeah that's cool that he does that.
 
So you got the new Evil Empire Hybrid SACD? I ordered mine on Amazon on December 5th.............either someone at Amazon is an idiot or else at Audio Fidelity b/c it was supposed to come 2 Friday ago but got delayed 'til yesterday. Now I find out they may not get anymore until early February..........What?!! I was pretty p'd off but of course Amazon didn't do crap. Not even a "sorry" credit. When I bought it, it showed they were in stock and even for a couple days after they did. So how the F do they run out of stock on MY copy? Total BS man. But it sounds like you got yours, and that's awesome. Where did you order from anyway?

It kept showing arriving tomorrow
Did you contact customer service ?
I told it it was an X-mas gift.....

I chatted with them. I think for issues like this I should just call. I think maybe they feel like they can get away with more BS on chat. lol 
 
eBay......oh ok. At least you got it though. And the credit too.......yeah I'll try calling them. F them. lol

Just called them. I tried EVERYTHING, including your good idea, but they wouldn't budge. You must've just been lucky. lol
 
They told me it's out of stock and we're sorry but can't give you a credit. They really are the dumbest Fs, just as bad as Comcast. lol And they're saying now I will have it for sure by early to mid February. LOL

I have the 1st album on Hybrid SACD. It DID sound better than both the original CD AND the 20th XX Anniversary Edition too. Songwise I'd probably agree, though I still think ALL their albums are great. The 2nd albums has Bulls On Parade and Year Of The Boomerang (amongst several others), which are prob my Top 2 favorites on the album. I remember listening to a single version of Boomerang that came out like a year before Evil Empire was released. Used to drive around with my friends and BLAST it in the car just outta high school. lol It sounded just like the later released album version, but I remember there was a slight variation at some point. Still, I thought it was cool that they included it on the album.
 
I only wish that if and when they release "Battle of Los Angeles" and "Renegades" that on one of them (prob Battle) they make sure to include the song "No Shelter" from the 1998 Godzilla movie soundtrack (the one with Matthew Broderick, and Jimmy Page and Puff Daddy redoing "Kashmir" as "Come With Me" lol). I f'ing LOVE that song.........one of their best IMO.

Oh I'm with you on THAT! Just as long as they don't screw it up. lol Esp if the reviews online for it were good, I'd totally buy it. That 1st Audioslave album is a modern day classic IMO. 
 
Around 2002 a "DualDisc" (a format which apparently didn't last very long lol) version of the album was put out in limited release. One side is CD, the other DVD. The DVD-audio side they say is supposed to be beyond incredible, although one reviewer on this site didn't feel that way, but most do. (Read ALL of the 1st post, and also see blind_melon1's post with pics). It appears to be impossible to find now, with a copy selling on eBay on 2012 for $100! lol Not so sure after reading blind_melon1's review that it's worth having, but I'd still like to listen to it and judge for myself. I wonder though, if there was a DVD-audio copy released if it used the same master? Probably, but not sure. I can't seem to find a DVD-Audio-only copy though (only one I see in that format is their "Live in Cuba" album), so it may not even exist. With songs like Cochise, Like A Stone, I Am The Highway, and Getaway Car (those my Top 4 favorites, but I love the ENTIRE album), it really is a must-have album.
 
I saw them in Nov 2005 live...........I'll never forget that. They sounded incredible! I really hope they reunite sometime soon the way Rage did. I would even say as much as I LOVE Rage and Soundgarden that I love Audioslave just a BIT more. I mean Like A Stone? That song alone is a super masterpiece IMHO.

I tried to find a Redbook version of the Godzilla soundtrack, but no luck. Maybe when Pono Music comes back online they'll have it? 7digital usually has AT LEAST CD/Redbook versions of albums, but they didn't have this one.
