BTW if anyone here has the serial number 777 I'd like to trade with you.

Mahogany, birch, etc are woods that help create the original sounds in those instruments. When used improperly in speakers or headphone cups, wood can create new resonances which can distort or change the original recorded sound. When that happens, it is not desirable.
This, what is good for instruments is not good for speakers.

Hoping for a lined pattern like the unit on the right of the massdrop picture with two THX00 (rather than certain serial#s).

Ah, seems there was misinformation in regards to the freight forwarding service to Canada. Instead of USPS, it's DHL Parcel Direct.
Where did you get this info? I remember Will mentioned that it would be USPS to Canada.

Oh NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
DHL used to charge stupid import fees aside from the taxes, and can be super slow.
HEART BROKEN.

Yea, did a quick shipping change to stateside once I saw that shipping update(after debating a bit if I wanted to cancel or not ).
EDIT:
If parcel direct is like Express customs wise (I imported a Gustard H10 headamp a few months ago to Vancouver) I was charged (in CAD) about $10 processing fee, $5 transaction, and then like 12% of converted CAD total of the item.

DHL is the worst. Why I have chosen this response as my first in a donkey's age. Not too sure... but I can't wait to get my hands on these THX cans! Not too sure if they will pair well with a Schiit Valhalla 2, but I don't care.
