Last time i checked it didn't even drop at 1000+ request. So expect some wait time.

Usually 200 is when they make the request to the manufacturer. But with the THX00 they're well aware of the interest, so it's completely dependent on how fast Fostex can get them to Massdrop. Really the number of requests are mostly meaningless when it comes to the THX00, as they're well aware it's sold out both times over a week before the end of the drop.

After 200 request how long dose it take to drop?

im assuming this one is opening back up on monday.  they already are trying to reschedule with the factory to increase the capacity.  so it's either going to be monday or soon thereafter if they can't move things around.  and if i had to guess, this ones going to be redropped quite a bit.

Looking forward to comparing these with the Fidelio X2 and Sennheiser HD540 and JVC FX850 IEMs I currently own.  There's just something special about wooden headphones.  May the time till their delivery pass quickly. . .

I'd be very interested in the comparison between them and the JVC woody IEMS. I know they're different beasts but they are on my wish list too, would be nice to know how they compare :)

It's crazy that the Fostex sold the same amount, if not more in just 2 drops than the AKG did in 1-2 years and multiple drops.

Nah, the K7XX had similar sell out drops when it first released. I was there.

Probably because the TH-X00 is based on a much more expensive headphones and AKG K70x series have never really been considered as fun headphones.

I would say the k7xx is an even better deal than the thx00. Those are really good headphones for $200!

Oh I am not denying they aren't great headphones. They are definitely amazing at $200, but at the end of the day, they are not what I would call fun headphones. The TH-X00 have not only the fun factor to them, but also wood cups as well and has some of the best bass south of the $500 marker. My point was just that the hype is bigger because they are much more fun to listen to and they are based on a pair of headphones significantly more pricey than the the K7xx are. Just my opinion of course! :D
