I would like to have stock pad in real leather - i have no idea where to get them
Here is my comparison between different pads, when comparing to TH900MK2 with the original TH610 pads:Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on what the best pad swap is for the TH series?
I am currently using the Yaxi pads leather version with decent results. I also tried the Alcantara version however I didn't like it as it dulled/muted the sound far too much.
I have tried the 610 pads as well, which are good as well, but not perfect.
The pad swaps/ aftermarket pads I'm aware of are:
- Dekoni
- 610
- X00
- Lawton
- SR-007
- Yaxi
- Ether
- Geekria
- Keep it stock and EQ?
Which one do you guys think is the best?
You can try your local Fostex reseller.Where do you get the original original TH610 pads in europe?
What is Lawton?Go to Lawton and there are vids for level replacement

Is it for only one ear pad and not the pair?I hope those TH900-Pads are original
they are much cheaper - 29 Euro + 5 Euro for parcel

if you like boomy bass, recessed mids, find the sound stage big enough, have no fatigue with the highs. If you love the red color I’d say don’t bother.I've had my TH900 Mk II's for about 3 months now, and I absolutely love them, especially for the incredible bass and soundstage. It's been perfect for gaming and listening to rock music. Treble doesn't really bother me since I was able to EQ the high frequencies to tame it.
Now that it's been a few years of everyone discussing it: What's the verdict on the Lawton mods? Are they a good overall improvement? I currently love the stock configuration of the TH900 with the boomy bass and soundstage. Is there a Lawton configuration that would simply improve upon those two things? Ideally I'd like to keep the soundstage as big as it is now, and keep the bass boomy, but perhaps improve on the punchiness and clarity?
